it's been a whole year since i released goodbye, world! i put out this album to an audience of 0 people and i would of never of imagined the response it would get.. it overwhelms me to think how many people listened to this, as it was always a personal project to me. thank you so much for everyone who has listened and supported me over this last year:) ! i appericate every single person, i distintly remember the first few people to buy my album on cassette before i had even released it digitally on bandcamp! it is still so odd to me!
today i release a much longer verison of losing interest in the things that you love - i don’t have a lot to say about this song like the others, other than I just sliced out the parts I liked the most to create the song which is on the album! these songs i got rid of for a reason, they arent very good- but i hope someone finds some enjoyment or interest in them! it's all i can offer for now

i stopped working on this song in august 2024, i remember i wanted just one song on the album which was all guitar, something peaceful to bring everything back to “normal” - for some reason i decided to push myself to write the most weirdest odd time signature riff I could possibly make.. this is the result. i felt it didn’t fit on the album and didn’t do its job as being the peaceful normal interlude it was meant to be.. “the invisible girl” which made it to the album i actually wrote a year before in 2023, i had just forgotten about it!

In celebration of goodbye, world! being one years old I am posting some old songs I was making for the album but decided to scrap, when you download my album on bandcamp they will be included in the download!
this song I stopped working on in November 2024, I remember I wanted to go for “a quick one before the eternal worm devours connecticut” feel, but I didn’t get there at all ha- I didn’t want the album to be overly guitar heavy, and I felt this song had too much guitar and it wasn’t as interesting to me as what later made the album. the middle section inspired “the city is calm at this hour” and the ending was repurposed for “static snow” minus the violin.

me and my girlfriend visited tallinn, estonia. it's such a beautiful city, one of my favourite places i've visited. it seems to have a mixture of nordic countries like finland with some eastern european countries, lots of overlapping of architectural styles. linnahalli was very interesting for me, its a semi-abonded massive brutalist venue. it was used to host a sailing event in 1980 for the moscow olympics. you can enter it and explore the outside of it, climbing on the roofs and walls. while i was there i also purchased a mandolin, on the inside of it it says "made in leningrad" in russian.

hi! i did an hour set on NTS Radio under deadAir Transmission! i've had lots of fun making this mix and i've included songs from many artists i love and inspire me and also including a new unreleased song by me :)

i bought a cello from someone on facebook, he was also selling a kalimba too so i also bought it! time to learn cello...

i got to see one of my favourite bands ever, mew, play their last ever show in london. when they announced their farewell tour i was so depressed. i honestly went to see the show last minute because i thought it would just destroy me. i'm so glad i went in the end though.

me, my sister and her friend visted my mum in germany for christmas, i go there every christmas, its such a comforting time for me. i love the german christmas markets and the hot wine. my mum and her boyfriend love icehockey so we always go to see a game, the only sport i have ever watched ha. düsseldorf (the team my mum likes) always seem to win when i see them, so she thinks i bring them luck..
